Free event - Come and Learn about Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs, Succulents, Houseplants, Hydroponics, Composting and Vermiculture, and Native plants including Native Milkweed. Get gardening questions answered by a Master Gardener. Everyone receives a free plant. Additional plants $2 and up.

In this webinar, Dr. Kent Daane, Cooperative Extension Specialist with UC Berkeley and at the Kearney Agricultural Center, will discuss vine mealybug controls in California vineyards.

In this webinar Mark Bolda, Farm Advisor in Strawberries and Caneberries with the University of California Cooperative Extension, Santa Cruz County, will discuss lygus bugs in strawberries. Lygus bugs are serious pests of strawberry, and by some estimates cause an annual loss of 20% statewide.

. Choose from pollinator plants grown by garden volunteers and from Morningsun Herb Farm, Vacaville. Gardening, nature and cookbooks will also be for sale, and Winters FFA students will have tomato and pepper starts for sale and milkweed to support Monarch butterflies.

Master Gardeners-Yolo workshop on Gardening For Year Round Meals meets regularly on the second Saturday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Grace Garden, located behind the United Methodist Church at 1620 Anderson Road, in Davis, near the back of the parking lot.

The Spring Plant Sale will happen for 2 weekends: April 6 and April 13. The time is 9 am until 1 pm for both dates. The location is Woodland Community College, Horticulture Unit. 2300 E. Gibson Road.
