Join the Master Food Preservers of Sacramento County for our annual Gifts from the Kitchen event! UCCE Sacramento, 4145 Branch Center Road, Sacramento CA 95827

Sorry this special event is full, but we have a waiting list in case we get last minute cancellations. Join us for an evening of Italian cooking. Well can some tomatoes, make some pesto for the freezer, and then well dive into making pasta to put it on.

Got an abundance of tomatoes? Bring your summer crop and join us to learn how to can herbed tomatoes. Participants will bring their own tomatoes (24 medium or 8 pounds). You will also choose the herb blend: Italian or Mexican.

This is a hands-on workshop where you'll choose the syrup and can pineapple to take home with you. Paid advanced registration required.
