Update, Nov. 13: The UC Davis team defeated the team from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in the preliminaries. Next step: the finals on Tuesday, Nov. 15 Let The Games begin! The award-winning UC Davis Entomology Games Team is gearing up for the national competition.

Urban landscape entomologist Emily Meineke, an assistant professor in the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology, has been named one of the 12 UC Davis recipients of the prestigious Hellman Fellowships, an annual program supporting the research of early-career faculty.
