Impatiens necrotic spot virus (INSV) is a tospovirus spreading primarily by an insect vector, the western flower thrip. INSV is similar to other tospoviruses, including Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), Groundnut ring spot virus (GRSV), and Tomato chlorotic spot virus (TCSV).
