Avoid Tree Planting Errors

Planting a tree seems like a no-brainer. Purchase a tree from your big box store or local nursery. Find out how much sun and water it needs and find a good place to plant it. Next, dig an appropriate size hole, ease the tree out of the pot, and plop it in the hole. Add water and watch it grow.

Deadline to Apply for the Master Gardener Program Extended to Sept 3!

There's still time to apply to become a UCCE Stanislaus County Master Gardener. The deadline has been extended until September 3, 2021. We plan to hold the weekly training classes on Thursdays, starting January 20, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ending on May 26, 2022*.
