What is 4-H?
The Solano County 4-H program has been helping young people, ages 5-19, reach their fullest potential as competent, confident individuals who contribute to and are connected with their communities for over 100 years. We have had the participation of over 300 youth members enrolled for the 2025-2026 program year, and nearly 100 volunteers.
In 4-H programs, youth serve in leadership roles where they set goals, develop plans, complete projects, and reflect on their experiences.
Learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based educational programs help young people enhance their leadership abilities and develop a wide range of other life skills.
Help us build a year-long gallery of Solano 4-H excellence. Our collaborative recognition board is now live for the 2025–2026 season. We invite all members and families to post photos, celebrate accomplishments, and encourage one another. What’s your favorite 4-H moment so far? Share it today!
