Herbs in the Kitchen and the Garden:
Cindy will draw on her years with the Long Beach Herb Society to show us how pretty and how functional herbs can be. They are a veritable workhorse in the garden, showing color, texture, height at aroma before you even pick them for kitchen use. In the kitchen, they elevate any dish they join. Hearty or delicate, they tend to be drought tolerant and nearly pest-free. They bring the bees. What is not to like?
