Information and tips for successful and satisfying home, organic, vegetable gardening. This includes what vegetables to plant and when, where, and how. Also, growing from seeds vs starter plants, good soil, watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
Suggested presentation length – 60 to 90 minutes – but length can be modified.

Information and tips for growing tomatoes organically in San Diego. This includes choosing your tomato varieties, where, where, and how to plant them, and proper soil, watering, and fertilizing. Vegetable plant pests and problems will also be addressed.

Biography:
David Boucher has been a Master Gardener since 2016. Vegetable gardening is his area of expertise. He has been growing his own organic vegetables in San Diego for more than 40 years. He regularly gives talks to the public on vegetable gardening and on growing tomatoes. In 2021, his home garden in Ocean Beach was featured on the San Diego Floral Association Garden Tour.
