What do you think of when you hear Yolo County Fair? Agriculture? Cotton candy? Carnival rides? Add gardening to the list. The Yolo County Fair dedicates the “The Plaza” to different aspects of gardening including planted gardens, vignettes, and potted plants. And in the Plaza, you will also find the UCCE Master Gardeners of Yolo providing gardening information, a demonstration garden, and children’s activities. Of course, if you have a gardening question, the Master Gardeners will provide you with research-based information for all your queries. For more information on the Yolo County Fair visit their website at:  http://www.yolocountyfair.net/

Garden Doctor

Master Gardeners address gardening questions in a monthly column that appears on the second Sunday in the Davis Enterprise.  The questions parallel the questions we receive on the phone line, at Farmers’ Markets, or as submitted by readers.

Yolo Gardener

This is a public newsletter released via e-mail quarterly for the people of Yolo County. It contains articles of seasonal gardening interest based on the most current horticultural research information available.  See "Yolo Gardener" to view past issues and subscribe to this publication.
