Fruit Tree Pruning with the Calaveras UC Master Gardeners
About the Event
The Calaveras UC Master Gardeners are hosting the Second Saturday at the Garden from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, August 8th, at the San Andreas Demonstration Garden.
In addition to plant sales, there will be a presentation and hands-on training about summer pruning of fruit trees starting at 9 am. If you ever wondered about when and why to prune fruit trees, grab your gloves, come to the garden, we'll go over some details, then head into the orchard and take on a few trees for a bit of hands-on training.
