Best Practices of Great Gardeners
About the Event
Presenter Kevin Marini, UCANR-i
There’s an interesting paradox that pops up in the garden; in a sense, we fail with growing
plants many times before we reach an understanding that leads to success with plant cultivation. I’ve read about growing great plants but the experiences of losing them in the garden is how
I’ve really learned. Of course, this applies to many things in life – we tend to learn from mistakes and stay
motivated to avoid repeating those mistakes – “experience is the best teacher” is a famous
quote commonly attributed to Julius Caesar.
Fortunately, we don’t have to completely rely on our own experiences in the garden to learn
best practices
