Truffle Production
North America Truffle Survey
The North American Truffle Survey was designed by growers and researchers to track NA’s emerging truffle industry annually. It is the only publicly available resource for this comprehensive census. The results inform growers and researchers alike, including the TRAPI (Truffle Reseach and Production Initiative) research team, about trends at the orchard level, the extent of production for each truffle species, and identify areas for research focus.
The 2023 Survey is LIVE and hosted on Qualtrics. Please contribute to the survey and share the link: https://ucanr.edu/trufflesurvey
We aim to gather responses from as many prospective and current North American truffle growers as possible, regardless of production status. Your participation ensures the report's accuracy, only takes about 10 minutes to complete, and your responses will be anonymous in any published materials. Thank you for your contribution to research!
Please contact Scott Oneto sroneto@ucanr.edu or Brian Allen brallen@ucdavis.edu for questions about the survey
We will be presenting the results of the survey during a NATGA webinar on 11/6 at 10 AM (Pacific). Please follow this link to register: https://trufflegrowers.com/event/grower-survey-update/
