Grape growers statewide are grappling with delayed, uneven, and in some cases total lack of count bud break and poor shoot growth. Cold fall temperatures and factors such as stress (drought and/or pest), are indicated.
Akif, Lynn and Kaan will lead discussion on what symptoms growers are seeing across the region and state, effects of conditions (rootstock, irrigation, disease) and physiology of cold damage, and what can be done now-training and pruning.
