State of the Science Literature & Policy Review

NEW FOR 2022: The San Diego County Climate & Agriculture Program is proud to announce a new "state of the science" literature and policy review on climate-resilient agriculture in San Diego County!

After a multi-year process of authorship, review of the scientific literature and both existing and anticipated policy, and internal and external review, our 60-page report analyzes the factors affecting agriculture in San Diego County in a changing climate.

The report lays out the scientific projections of climate change and how it will impact agriculture, evaluates potential climate mitigation and resilience practices for growers, addresses available specialist and technical assistance in conducting those practices, and discusses the economic future of agriculture in the County.
