This year only, we are offering the Civic Engagement Academy as a statewide conference in place of the California Focus conference.

Youth will be trained to lead the CE Academy in their county, supported by 4-H Adult volunteers.

Q: Will we be meeting with state legislators?

A: No, we will not be meeting with state legislators this year because many of their offices have restrictions on meeting right now. However, we are inviting legislators and community leaders to speak at the conference.

Q: Will California Focus come back?

A: YES! We are planning to host California Focus in two years, in 2024. We are in the process of updating California Focus so please check back and plan to participate in 2024!
