Animal-Still Exhibits Youth Fair
TWO Events in ONE!
This is a field day event, usually occurring in early May, that combines the Still Exhibits Fair and Animal Youth Fair.
Animal Youth Fair: all animal projects provide activities, demonstrations, and teaching programs that inform members and their families "how to raise an animal" in a 4-H project, and allows the youth an opportunity to watch grooming demonstrations and practice their showmanship skills before entering their animals in the fairs.
Still Exhibits Youth Fair: for all 4-H members with Still Projects, for example, electricity, woodworking, food and clothing, and so on, to exhibit their work for ribbon awards and help prepare them to exhibit their project-item at local fairs.
Categories for Still Exhibits:
- Engineering (Woodworking, Electronics, Small Engines, etc.)
- Family and Consumer Sciences (Clothing, Foods, Home Arts, Fashion, etc)
- Health and Leisure (Creative Art, Crafts, Hobbies, Leather, Photography, etc.)
- Plant Science
- Social Sciences (Computers, Leadership Development, Citizenship)
Everyone is invited to attend this fun event!
