4-H Scholarships
2022 SCHOLARSHIPS
IMPORTANT DATES
* Applications for the scholarships will be available on Monday, April 3, 2023, by 12:00 PM
* Applications will be due to the 4-H Office on
April 21, 2023, by 5:00 PM
* Interviews will be held at the 4-H Office on
May 06, 2023.

Laura and Neil HULBERT Award
This award was established by Laura and Neil Hulbert, who were strong supporters of youth activities. The funds are to be bequeathed annually in the amount of $2,500 each to one male and one female Placer County student between 14 and 18 years of age (by Dec 31 of the enrollment year of selection) and currently enrolled in Placer County 4-H.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:
- Applicant must be at at least 14 years old, and not yet 19 by December 31st of the selected year.
- Applicant must currently be enrolled in the Placer County 4-H program.
- An applicant may not have received this award in prior years.
APPLICATION PROCESS: All documents listed must be included in the Application Packet and submitted together.

Placer County 4-H Scholarship
Placer County 4-H Scholarship Award of $500 is given to qualifying Placer County 4-H high school members. This award has been made possible through the raising of a sale animal that is auctioned annually at the Junior Livestock Auction.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:
- Applicant must be a freshman through senior in high school.
- Applicant must have been active in the Placer County 4-H program for three years prior to applying and have enrolled prior to November 30th of the enrollment year.
- An applicant may not have received this award in prior years.
