The Business System Analyst is responsible for applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved business information systems and business processes to meet UCANR's business needs. The Business Analyst leverages multiple platforms and tools to conduct intermediate to advanced analysis to support effective leadership and stakeholder decision-making as it pertains to information technology (IT) projects. Serves as the conduit between stakeholders / business and UCANR's IT team to translate business requirements into IT solutions. This position will work closely with UCANR's project managers in delivering IT solutions to meet the business needs of UCANR. The ideal candidate will facilitate collaboration, drive project deliverables, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed and ends two years from date of hire with the possibility of extension if funding permits. 

The home department for this position is IT Services. While this position normally is based in Davis, CA position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University. 

Pay Scale: $71,100/year to $99,900/year
