Development Services
UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) connects the power of UC research in agriculture, natural resources, nutrition and youth development with local communities to improve the lives of all Californians. Private funding from individuals, families, corporations, and foundations ensures that we can advance our programmatic, research and extension mission. UC ANR Development Services offers donor engagement and fundraising services to ensure that our private funding goals are achieved, offering a range giving options to match the interests and philanthropic priorities of our donors. We recognize the contributions of our donors and strive to provide them with exemplary customer service while treating them with integrity, professionalism, respect, and discretion.
Our UC ANR Development Services team is comprised of senior development officers and advancement professionals, who partner with our statewide programs, cooperative extension offices, research centers, institutes and a network of dedicated volunteers. We create effective fundraising strategies utilizing a variety of approaches including annual and online giving, programmatic and research funding, and long-term options such as endowments and planned giving.
Additionally, we provide a range of activities and services including donor stewardship, gift processing, data and financial management, reporting, and policy compliance. UC ANR Development Services also encompasses the California 4-H Foundation, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation established to secure support for the California 4-H Youth Development Program.
