The University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) offers a unique recruitment opportunity for a Land Equity Project Manager (Project Policy Analyst 3). UC ANR coordinates a statewide network of researchers and educators in partnership with 58 counties that are dedicated to the development and application of knowledge to address local agricultural, environmental, youth, and health issues. Over 200 UC ANR UCCE academics conduct research, outreach and education from locally based Cooperative Extension offices in over 70 locations. The Project Policy Analyst 3 will serve as a project manager for a state-funded grant and provide support for the principal investigator. As an administrative operations professional, the project manager will understand the UC systemwide practices, policies, and procedures. They will provide analytical support, service, and management of a climate smart project funded through a state agency.

Reporting Relationship: The Project Policy Analyst 3 will serve under the general, administrative, and programmatic guidance and supervision of the UCCE San Bernardino Land Equity Academic Coordinator II.

Counties of Responsibility: The Project Policy Analyst 3 will serve the eight counties in the Southern California region: Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, or Imperial Counties.

This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed and ends two years from date of hire with the possibility of extension, if funding permits.

The home department is UCCE San Bernardino County. While this position normally is based in Highland, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.

Pay Scale: $64,300/year to $89,300/year
