Come along to our weekly Workday & Open Garden Gate - we are now operating winter hours - 11am to 4pm. Open year-round on Thursdays - the public is welcome to explore the garden, ask for advice, take free seeds home to plant, buy plants, share in the harvest and more.
Would you like to train your dog in obedience and learn dog handling? If you answered yes, consider joining the 4-H County Wide Dog Project. Leaders of the project are Anne Cehrs and Richard Benefiel, a former dog resource leader for Fresno County 4-H.
Master Gardeners Deb and Christina will show you why we plant perennials and bulb now (just when most plants are going dormant). Other topics will include preparing your garden for dormancy, cover crops, and feeding the soil.

The Kings County 4-H Leaders Council meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Kings UCCE Multi-Purpose Room to discuss 4-H business, plan events, and develop the program. All Kings County 4-H adult volunteers, senior youth members, and parents are encouraged to attend.
