UC Master Food Preservers of Central Sierra: Event

Youth ages 5-18 are invited to come make three jars of a jam or jelly of their choice (apple, strawberry, peach or grape), then take one home and enter the other two in the 2024 El Dorado County Fair! Bring your own fruit and the Master Food Preservers will provide everything else.

Come along to our weekly Workday & Open Garden Gate - we are now operating winter hours - 11am to 4pm. Open year-round on Thursdays - the public is welcome to explore the garden, ask for advice, take free seeds home to plant, buy plants, share in the harvest and more.
