Description: UC Master Gardener Leslie Muennemann wanted her home landscaping to reflect the surrounding riparian and woodland habitat, to attract and to support wildlife and pollinators. There are many ways to accomplish planting a native garden and choices to make along the way.

Elementary age kids- join us at Woodward Park library for a hands-on activity to build, create, or craft together. Materials will be provided.

Learn important aspects of pruning a variety of plants from UC Master Gardeners.

Join us for a fun and informative presentation on Growing Delicious Tomatoes from our own "Tomato Tom," Merced County Master Gardener and avid backyard gardener.

Learn the art and science behind composting from a local Certified Master Composter. Learn about the importance of managing your organic waste (food scraps and yard trimmings) at home. As the drought worsens and the climate warms, home-based waste management has never been more relevant.
