The Kings County 4-H Leaders Council meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Kings UCCE Multi-Purpose Room to discuss 4-H business, plan events, and develop the program. All Kings County 4-H adult volunteers, senior youth members, and parents are encouraged to attend.

Bring your family to enjoy a very short hike (1 mile - strollers and toddlers welcome!) to visit our new born lambs. Enjoy a variety of sheep related activities suitable for children after the hike at the Rod Shippey Hall patio. Adults $10, Children 16 and under $5 Click here to register.

Learn the art and science behind composting from a local Master Composter. Learn about the importance of managing your organic waste (food scraps and yard trimmings) at home. As the drought worsens and the climate warms, home-based waste management has never been more relevant.

On March 28th UCCE Fresno is hosting a field day to demonstrate soil health practices and robotic weed management. The field day lasts from 9 AM to 12 PM. The location is Cardoza & Cardoza Farms, 1258 Manning Ave, Fresno, 93706.
