A regular workday at the demo garden on Thursdays, 11am to 1pm. The gate will indeed be open and members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the garden and ask for advice. There will be public demos and plant sales. Share in garden produce, free seed exchange and local gardening advice.

California 4-H Horse Classic

The annual California 4-H Horse Classic includes educational contests and a horse show. The education contests are state qualifiers to compete at the 4-H National Roundup in Denver, Colorado. The Horse Show includes divisions in English, Over Fences, Western, Ranch, Miniature Horse and Gymkhana.
