This program is designed to assess the management skills of high potential, early career staff supervisors and managers for future leadership opportunities at the University of California (academics are not eligible). The next MSAP will be held April 18-21 at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead.

This is a friendly reminder that nominations for the ANR Staff Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) Program for fiscal year 2014-15 must be submitted to anrstaffpersonnel@ucanr.edu by Thursday, April 30, 2015.
The STAR program allows ANR unit directors, managers and supervisors the opportunity to nominate outstanding ANR staff employees and employee teams below the executive level.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Management Skills Assessment Program (MSAP). This staff program is designed to assess the management skills of high potential, early career supervisors, managers and professionals for future leadership opportunities at the University of California (academics are not eligible to participate). This year an integrated MSAP program is being offered with both northern and southern locations participating in one program that will include participants from the entire UC system. I am pleased to inform you that at the direction of President Janet Napolitano, the University is making plans to implement a systemwide salary increase program for policy-covered (non-represented) career staff employees and faculty/academics for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
