Master Food Preservers of San Bernardino is a group of volunteers who are members of the University of California Cooperative Extension in San Bernardino, California. We promote, teach and demonstrate USDA approved, safe, food preservation methods. These include dehydration, fermentation, freezing, pressure canning, and boiling-water bath canning.
Classes are offered on a regular basis; usually bi-monthly. We demonstrate various food preservation methods, safe food handling techniques, cooking (with what we preserve), food selection. We also offer speakers for groups interested in home food preservation.
