Earlier this month, Microsoft released a security update for computers running older version of Windows (7 and XP primarily). Researchers recently discovered a vulnerability that allows attackers to infiltrate and gain control of un-patched computers.
Users of Windows 7 and Windows XP computers should apply the Microsoft security updates immediately.
Users of Windows 10 or 8 are not affected.
Anyone with a computer running either of those operating systems, at home or at the office, should also seriously consider upgrading to Windows 10 as soon as possible. Please contact UC ANR IT Help at email@example.com for more information.
