How can we join 4-H? Youth Members Adult Volunteers What do members learn? The primary goal of 4-H is to help youth succeed and reach their fullest potential in life. Young people in 4-H are uniquely prepared to step up to the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

The county 4-H program is organized by smaller local community clubs. Yolo County clubs meet monthly throughout Clarksburg, Davis, Woodland, and the Esparto/Capay Valley.

Adults are vital in helping youth get the most out of 4-H by leading projects, encouraging children to try new things, and helping out at events.

Leaders Council is the governing body of the Yolo County 4-H Program.

Presentation Day is an event held annually for current members of Yolo County 4-H. It is a competitive event which provides members the opportunity to practice their public speaking skills. Members are encouraged to gain public speaking skills, as this is critical of leaders.
