EFNEP Participants learn to:
- Plan nutritious meals
- Increase physical activity
- Practice safe food handling and sanitation.
- Develop skills to budget, buy, grow, and appropriately store food.
Target Audience:
- Focused on low income families especially those with young children.
- Emerging adults (19-29) to provide foundational life skills.
- All participants should be responsible for planning and preparing family meals.
Eligibility:
Participants must satisfy one of the following:
- Receive or be eligible to receive federal food assistance.
- Have a monthly household cash income that is at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level.
