Fashion Revue

Event Overview and Purpose:

Fashion Revue is an event that helps members develop personal style, posture, and confidence. Participants may buy or sew an outfit—sewing is not required. The event welcomes all ages and skill levels.

Entries reflect many hours of project work, including selecting, constructing, accessorizing, and modeling outfits. Judges focus on the member’s choices and skills in selection and construction as well as fit and overall appearance.

Objectives include:
 • Building confidence through creating outfits that reflect personality and are age-appropriate.
 • Learning to plan, present, and participate in fashion events.
 • Demonstrating smart consumer decisions by explaining outfit choices within a budget and for the intended purpose.
