When temperatures rise, everyone feels the heat – even your garden. If you live in a hot summer area, be sure to use strategies to avoid heat stress in plants. In addition, you can choose species that prefer sizzling hot summer days. Many of these sun lovers are big time bloomers, even cranking out flowers during heat waves – much to the delight of pollinators and gardeners.
