ELIGIBILITY
Youth must complete 4-H enrollment BEFORE participating in the 4-H Program.
Youth are eligible to participate in 4-H if they meet the following criteria:
- Primary Member: Must be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2025. Youth who turn 9 on or after January 1, 2026 must participate as a primary member until the end of the program year.
- Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Members: Must be 9 years old on or before December 31, 2025. Youth may join if they are not 19 years old on or before December 31, 2025. Youth who turn 19 and who are already a 4-H member may continue capstone activities through December 31, 2026.
ENROLL IN 4-H (New Youth Members)
The recommended time to inquire about 4-H and enroll in a 4-H Community Club is July-September, as clubs typically begin their meetings for the new program year in September or October.
STEP 1: Choose a 4-H Community Club
Find a local 4-H Club:
Consider both location and project offerings when selecting a 4-H Club.
STEP 2: Contact the UCCE Napa County 4-H Office

STEP 3: Enroll Online (ZSuite)
Go to https://4h.zsuite.org.
Complete and submit a 4-H youth member enrollment application.
Click Sign Up and create a household. Click + Household member to add individuals to the household. Enter all required information and submit. The youth member enrollment status will show as PENDING APPROVAL.

STEP 4: Submit the Enrollment Fee ($62/youth)
Choose one of the following:
Online (Credit Card): Pay at https://bit.ly/napaenrollmentfee; service fee added.
Check or Cash: Payable to UC Regents
Drop off or mail to:
UCCE Napa 4-H, 1710 Soscol Avenue, Suite 4, Napa, CA 94559
(no service fee charged for checks or cash).
Request Fee Waiver: To request a waiver or reduction of program enrollment fees, please submit your request in writing to the 4-H office.
STEP 5: Wait for Approval
Your application will be reviewed. When approved, notification of your 4-H youth enrollment will be sent from ZSuite. At this time, you may attend a club meeting and meet the club members and leaders. Welcome to 4-H!
