Master Gardener Application Timeline
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Master Gardener volunteer. The twelve-week class is held annually. The timeline for the class is below. Please email us at ucmgnapatraining@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Spring and Summer
- Marketing and Advertisement: Advertising for the new class begins in late spring and early summer. Check the Napa County Master Gardener website and social media for information.
- Information Sessions: Information Sessions are held in August and September to learn more about the program. Attending an information session is required prior to applying.
Fall
- Applications: The deadline for applications is the end of September
- Interviews: Interviews are held in early October
- Orientation: In-person orientation is held in mid-November for selected applicants
Winter
- Course Begins: The twelve-week course begins in January. Content and assignments are completed through an online platform. The in-person portion is held on Fridays 9:00-1:30 during the twelve weeks of the program.
