Community Partners

The UC Master Gardeners work with other community organizations to fulfill our mission to extend research based knowledge on home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscape practices to the residents of California. We are guided by our core values and strategic initiatives.  Below are links to our active partners who work with us to support our efforts.

City of Napa

We partner with the City of Napa to provide two gardens that demonstrate the latest research based knowledge for the home gardener.  These gardens are open to the public and are free of charge.  Stop by and check them out.

Fuller Park Rose Garden demonstrates the best practices in rose care.

Las Flores Learning Garden demonstrates low water use for bay friendly gardens, along with pollinator, succulent, and native plant ideas that you can use in your home garden.

The city also offers Free Composting Workshops that show you how to reduce yard waste while creating a valuable resource for your own garden.

Napa County Libraries

We partner with the Napa County Library to bring you our monthly Library Talk webinars that cover a variety of gardening and environmental topics. Check out our upcoming events or the Napa County Main Library.

Farmers' Markets

Look for our booths at the Napa and St. Helena Farmers' Markets where Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions.  Stop by and say hello!

Napa Farmers' Market  - We are there the first Saturday and third Tuesday for April through October.

St. Helena Farmers' Market - We are there the first Friday of the month from May through October.

Additional Partners

These additional partners also support our mission through their own work.  Check them out.
