Ana has been a dedicated member of the 4-H program for over six years. Her passion for youth development and community engagement shines through in her work as she builds meaningful relationships with 4-H members and volunteers. Outside of her role (when she finds a rare moment of free time), Ana enjoys exploring the outdoors, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with her family.

Melissa serves as the 4-H Youth Development Advisor for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties with University of California Cooperative Extension. In this role, she leads the development and expansion of youth programming with a focus on college and career readiness, leadership development, and creating pathways that connect young people to meaningful opportunities in their communities.
Melissa brings a strong background in youth development, community partnerships, and program strategy. Her work centers on fostering environments where youth feel a sense of belonging, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to thrive in school, career, and life.
Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and staying active.
