Who We Are The CalFresh Healthy Living, University of California Nutrition Education Program is a federally-funded program that offers nutrition education to limited-resource individuals, families, and children.

CATCH Early Childhood (CEC) Physical Activity Box is specifically designed to nurture a love of physical activity early on in children. The curriculum includes developmentally appropriate activities that are easy for teachers to follow in order to lead safe and enjoyable activities for children.

Grow It, Try It, Like It! Nutrition Education Kit Featuring MyPlate is a garden-themed nutrition education kit for child care center staff that introduces children to: three fruits - peaches, strawberries, and cantaloupe, and three vegetables - spinach, sweet potatoes, and crookneck squash.

Playground Stencils are a prime way for us to implement nutrition education into pre-school children's daily routine. These stencils provide both indirect nutritional resources and increased opportunity for physical activity.

Murals support CalFresh Healthy Living messaging around our core goals: increase consumption or fruits and vegetables and be physically active.

Adult and Senior Education at CalFresh Healthy Living, UC intends to provide financial and nutritional education to local residents within Alameda County. Our mission is to introduce resources to the community that support good food habits and decision making skills.

PCPA supports UC ANR managers by providing technical expertise regarding all aspects of policy, including development, management, analysis, interpretation, training, reporting and coordination. UC policies assume that the reader will implement the subject policy in a campus setting.
