UC IPM's free Urban & Community webinars are delivered live over Zoom every third Thursday of the month, except December. Attendees must register ahead of time. Webinars are recorded and posted on the UC IPM YouTube channel. Last updated on 12/6/2024.

The Placer County Interview Contest is a State Interview Contest Qualifying Event. This event is open to junior, intermediate and senior members (Ages 9-19).

Giving presentations helps develop many life skills including the ability to speak in front of a group, organizing ideas, and creating and using graphics to support the spoken word.

The Photography Contest provides an opportunity for 4-H members ages 5-18, as of December 31, 2023, to showcase their best photographs taken within the past 4-H year.

Using Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics to Solve Global Issues Global science-related issues will require a civically engaged, scientifically literature populace who are willing and able to contribute to innovative solutions. Solving global issues will need creative solutions.

The contest will consist of identifying 45-50 insects to order and type of insect (sphinx moth, long-horned borer beetle).

Forestry Contest participants can expect to test their knowledge of tree identification, topographic map reading, and general questions about the field of forestry.
