Farmers' Markets & Other Venues
The UC Master Gardeners of Riverside County support Farmers' Markets and many other venues with our "Ask a Master Gardener" Information Booths. Our Master Gardener Volunteers are there to answer your gardening questions with science based information and pointers on how to make the most out of your garden. Master Gardener attendance at these events is subject to the availability of our volunteers and, of course, the weather.
Grow Lab
The Grow Lab provides a hands-on laboratory for Master Gardener Trainees and a venue for all Master Gardeners to educate the public on innovative University-based vegetable gardening techniques. Learn it. Do it. Teach it.
Newsletters
The monthly Events & Information e-Blast and bi-monthly Garden Views newsletter are digital publications of the UC Master Gardeners of Riverside County. Articles highlight the activities and events of Master Gardener Volunteers throughout Riverside County, from the edge of Orange County to the Arizona state line. All reporters are UC Master Gardeners or Master Gardeners in-training.
School/Children's/Youth Gardens
Our School/Children's/Youth Gardens program provides educational services to school and children’s gardens including: consultation related to school gardens on line school garden lessons, fact sheets on vegetables, herbs and flowers, and relevant resources and solutions to support successful horticulture projects. All resources are available to the public at no cost. Master Gardeners participate entirely on a volunteer basis, not as paid employees or labor.
Speakers Bureau
The Speakers Bureau is a very important way that we fulfill our mission to educate the public. Our speakers are certified and appointed UC Master Gardeners who receive additional training to qualify as speakers.
