Who are the Master Gardeners?

Master Gardeners are community members who have been trained under the direction of the University of California Cooperative Extension. Each volunteer has completed more than 50 hours of formal classroom training. Master Gardeners help the Cooperative Extension office provide practical scientific gardening information to the home gardeners of our county.

How we serve El Dorado County:
  • MG Office: Master Gardeners are available 9 am to noon, several days each week, to answer your home gardening questions by phone, email, or in person. Call the office before stopping by: 530-621-5512.
