Made in the Shade

By popular demand, this workshop will address a common problem in the Foothills – not enough sun.  Learn as we explore how plants adapt to shade, and what shade loving plants have in common. Learn about specific landscaping design ideas using a variety of ground covers, perennials, and shade loving shrubs and trees. We will also discuss planting under oaks and taking advantage of filtered and bright shade.

Join your local Master Gardeners as we explore “the dark side” using color and texture to create special gardens that are not high maintenance and can be quite beautiful.
