GARDENING IN A CHANGING CLIMATE
Climate change increases weather extremes — it can make our
environment drier, wetter, hotter, or colder. We’ll explore how such conditions can affect
your plants and property. Learn how to moderate these gardening challenges with
specific strategies for plant selection and location, irrigation, plant protection, and
maintenance. We’ll also touch on how to reduce wildfire risk, as climate change is
increasing the frequency and intensity of wildfires.
