Interview Contest

The Placer County Interview Workshop hands-on workshop held at least a month prior to contest to give members the tools they need to be successful in the interview contest in life. 

The Placer County Interview Contest is a State Interview Contest Qualifying Event. This event is open to junior, intermediate and senior members (Ages 9-19). Tasks include reviewing a job description, submitting a resume and cover letter prior to the competition, and participating in a mock job interview. The Job Interview contest provides career development opportunities by developing youth's skill in: 

• Career Planning 
• Written Communication- resume and cover letter writing
• Oral Communication- public speaking
• Persuasive speaking skills
