UC Cooperative Extension specialist Alison Van Eenennaam, an animal geneticist based at UC Davis, was named a 'rising star' in the online magazine ozy.com. Van Eenennaam operates at the forefront of biotechnology in animal agriculture, wrote reporter Marissa Fessenden.
