Presentation Day(s) give members the chance to communicate an idea or concept to an audience. By going through the process of giving a presentation, members learn how to research a subject, organize ideas in a logical order, and practice public speaking skills which are valuable later in life.
Achievement Night is the awards and recognition event for 4-H members and adult volunteers for the previous year. This event is for all 4-H families. It will include Star Ranks, Special Awards and a Sacramento County 4-H Slide Show.
The 4-H Presentation Program is designed for 4-H members ages 9 to 18. The system of county, regional, and state 4-H presentations supports youth 4-H members (aged 9 to 18) in practicing and improving their public speaking skills.
Kids aged 5 to 8 can join 4-H as Primary Members, also known as Cloverbuds. Primary Member projects and activities are based on research on positive youth development. Positive youth development means helping you grow by giving you chances to learn, make choices, and build skills.
