Learn the art and science behind composting from a local Certified Master Composter. Learn about the importance of managing your organic waste (food scraps and yard trimmings) at home. As the drought worsens and the climate warms, home-based waste management has never been more relevant.

New laws in California have recently been passed to address negative pesticide effects on pollinators and wildlife. Come learn about these new laws and what it means for several common home and garden pests, including insects and rodents.

Come along to our weekly Workday & Open Garden Gate - we are now operating winter hours - 11am to 4pm. Open year-round on Thursdays - the public is welcome to explore the garden, ask for advice, take free seeds home to plant, buy plants, share in the harvest and more.
