Event Name: Gardening for Pollinators Description: GARDENING FOR POLLINATORS What are the basic needs of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds and how can you provide those requirements? What are their favorite plants and flowers? Learn how to garden to increase the desirability of your environment.

Join Madera County Master Gardeners for their Glorious Garden Tour on April 13th! From 9am to 1pm, you will have the chance to tour four amazing home gardens plus their own Three Sisters Demonstration Garden.

Youth ages 5-18 are invited to come make three jars of a jam or jelly of their choice (apple, strawberry, peach or grape), then take one home and enter the other two in the 2024 El Dorado County Fair! Bring your own fruit and the Master Food Preservers will provide everything else.

The Kings County 4-H Leaders Council meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Kings UCCE Multi-Purpose Room to discuss 4-H business, plan events, and develop the program. All Kings County 4-H adult volunteers, senior youth members, and parents are encouraged to attend.
