North Coast Sudden Oak Death Meeting

Held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 1 to 5 P.M. at the Ag Center in Eureka, this meeting for tribes, land managers, and landowners featured updates on:

  • SOD incidence in the north coast of California and in Curry County, Oregon
  • Stream monitoring results from 2018 and a sneak peek at preliminary results from 2019
  • A management project along Lacks Creek in Humboldt County
  • Other Phytophthora affecting North Coast forests
  • Other pests in the North Coast

There were 25 in attendance comprised of agency reps, tribal members, private landowners, forest managers, and NGOs.
