Following the end of federal SNAP-Ed funding nationwide, CalFresh Healthy Living, UC programming will conclude on September 30, 2026. We are grateful to the many partners, participants, schools, and community organizations that have helped build healthier communities over the past 30 years.

What we do
CalFresh Healthy Living, UCCE (CFHL, UCCE) teaches people eligible for SNAP about good nutrition, how to make their food dollars stretch further, and how to be physically active at any age. Effective, evidenced-based nutrition education and physical activity classes are aligned with policy, systems and environmental change strategies to create long lasting community change.
