Central Coast Rangeland Coalition

About the CCRC
The Central Coast Rangeland Coalition (CCRC) is a group of individuals and organizations committed to the ecological, economic, and social sustainability of rangeland management on public and private lands across California’s Central Coast region. Steering group members, partners, and meeting participants include rangeland owners and ranchers; non-governmental conservation organizations; public wildlife, parks, and open space agencies; research and educational organizations; and other rangeland practitioners. All are welcome, and we especially encourage participation from diverse perspectives.
Our Vision
The Central Coast Rangeland Coalition envisions vibrant, productive, diverse, and sustainable rangelands, human communities, and working and natural landscapes on California’s Central Coast.
Our Mission
The CCRC promotes rangeland science, science-informed grazing and other management practices, and rangeland conservation for enhanced well-being of people, communities, and wildlife, and health of lands and waters across California's Central Coast.
We do this by fostering respectful dialogue, building community, and engaging the broader public to strengthen the stewardship and sustainability of working and natural landscapes.
